Chris Hancock

Director, Communications

Chris Hancock, director of communications, is responsible for overall management of Winrock’s communications team. Formerly Winrock’s senior communications officer, he has managed Winrock’s social media, press releases and media outreach, and strategic communications campaigns. Before joining Winrock, Chris managed communications for three Arkansas state agencies. He has led multiple community and economic development initiatives in Central Arkansas, including as a board member of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, an at-large commissioner of the Little Rock City Beautiful Commission, and pre-k policy lead of the Little Rock Mayor’s Education Committee. He has held various leadership roles in place-making projects, including with the Metroplan Regional Advisory Committee on Livable Communities. Chris has a bachelor’s degree from the Schedler Honors College of the University of Central Arkansas.
