Katy Hewitt, Winrock’s Senior Director of Global People, Process and Strategy, is an experienced human capital adviser with over 15 years of HR experience working across a variety of industries including financial, health and international development. Her background is a blend of project management, new business development, talent acquisition and organizational development, which have helped her establish the strong relationships and networks that she has relied on throughout her career in talent acquisition and management. She comes to Winrock after serving as the senior program manager on the Education Support Initiative for Dexis Consulting Group, overseeing a $37 million United States Agency for International Development (USAID) project that was tasked with providing a workforce analysis for USAID’s Office of Education. This required leadership in applying workforce analysis, employment trends, budget projections, and other human capital assessment tools to create strategic plans to address current and future organizational mission requirements. Previously, Hewitt worked in managerial recruitment positions for the Education Development Center (EDC), DAI, and Pact, establishing the organizations’ visions and procedures for international recruiting and implementing systems and processes to identify and recruit staff. Hewitt pursued a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Knowledge Management (ODKM) from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh.
