MeLinda Hodgson, Winrock’s director of awards management, has more than 17 years of experience managing government contracts. Prior to joining Winrock, MeLinda served as associate director for contracts management services and regulatory guidance at FHI 360, where she oversaw health, education, and civil society projects – the organization’s largest portfolio. MeLinda also managed FHI 360’s General Services Administration Schedule. She previously served as director of contracts and pricing with ICF International, overseeing their U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of Energy, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency portfolio. She began her career supporting U.S. Department of Defense and civilian agency clients. A native New Yorker, MeLinda holds a bachelor’s in political science from City University of New York, and earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. She is a passionate volunteer, and has worked with the Loudon County (Va.) Center for Domestic Violence, House of Ruth, Dress for Success, and the Alexandria (Va.) Friendly Visitor Program. She also has taught ballet and modern dance to girls at the Florence Crittenton Center. In her free time, MeLinda enjoys all forms of dance and travel, and has visited 31 countries, so far.
