Scope of Work
Winrock is seeking a dynamic organization to provide specialized technical assistance to rural leaders to improve local communications and public relations.
The applicant shall propose a scope of work that achieves the following required deliverables. Copying and pasting the deliverables below into the application is not sufficient on its own. The scope of work should include a description of how the applicant will coordinate, achieve, or create these items in collaboration with each ASPIRE community and Winrock. Please note: Workshops may be provided to representatives of all four communities as a group/cohort. Workshops should include both didactic and participatory methods of learning. Workshops may be hosted virtually. If virtual, workshops should not exceed 2 hours in length in one sitting.
- Lead interactive workshops on each of the following topics:
- Communicating during a crisis and developing a crisis communication plan.
- Strategies to effectively engage the media.
- Hosting equitable, inclusive, and engaging public meetings or dialogues.
- Engaging in critical conversations and controversial topics and easing public tension.
- Strategies to improve online presence.
- Provide tools, templates, or other practical resources related to workshop topics that leaders can reference for future communication needs.
- Coordinate all logistics (date/time, venue, food, travel, workshop materials, etc.)
- Conduct pre/post learning assessments of participants.
- Provide follow-up assistance to participants as requested.
