Women Leaders: Shaping The Future Of Africa

Through Winrock’s pioneering AWLAE^SM program, African women farmers and aspiring agricultural professionals received the support they needed to be successful and share their knowledge. The stories of 10 of these women illustrate the importance of investing in the leadership development of women and girls in Africa. Their successes span the continent — from Côte d’Ivoire to East Africa — and they continue to influence women and girls through their work in education, government ministries and civil society.
