Winrock International requests the support of a remote Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer for volunteer assignment supporting a host located in Dalaba, Fouta region, in Guinea, West Africa. The volunteer will work with a local volunteer to train faculty at the Higher Institute of Veterinary Sciences Dalaba on how to train students on entrepreneurial business creation while building and scaling to generate profit. The training will prepare the students to enter the job market and/or to start their own agricultural enterprises. Despite the many opportunities that the agricultural sector offers in terms of employability, many young students are not prepared for self-employment or for running a business because university training focuses more on theory than practice. F2F Guinea will draw on the expertise of an American remote volunteer to provide training and support to beneficiaries in Guinea to increase capacity in entrepreneurship instruction through a partnership approach to this assignment whereby a local Guinean volunteer will lead on the ground training.
