Valentine’s Day is not only when we indulge in chocolate — it’s also when we hear about how bad it is for the environment. But what if we could enjoy chocolate without climate guilt? In fact, we can, because when cocoa is grown sustainably, it can actually help save the planet, not destroy it, says Winrock scientist Dr. Timothy Pearson in an op-ed published by Scientific American.
