Central Asian government agencies, and civil society partners working to combat trafficking in persons came together for a conference in Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana, July 27-28, to strengthen partnerships and share experiences and challenges.

Winrock International works with various funders to combat human trafficking in Central Asia, specifically in Kazakhstan, including Safe Migration in Central Asia, funded by the United States Agency for International Development, and the Kazakhstan Actions Against Trafficking in Children, funded by the United States Department of State.
