Winrock believes in the power of great ideas — and the social entrepreneurs who make them a reality. We help small farmers, technology innovators and others share knowledge, establish standards, form networks, find funding and connect with strategic partners.
America’s small businesses have always been an engine for innovation and job creation. In Arkansas, women-owned small businesses have been growing faster than the national average — and the Arkansas Women’s Business Center (AWBC) is helping fuel that trend by providing thousands of hours of training and the access to markets and capital that entrepreneurs need to grow their companies. AWBC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and is part of a nationwide network of centers empowering women entrepreneurs.
