Jennifer Holthaus

Jennifer Holthaus is associate director of Winrock’s Clean Energy & Circular Economy team. She specializes in designing and implementing business models that can launch markets for renewable energy serving low-income rural communities, including strengthening the capacity of local private developers and financial institutions to invest in renewable energy technologies. A seasoned facilitator, project manager, and writer, Ms. Holthaus is an expert in distilling lessons from technical work into digestible and actionable conclusions and communication products and facilitating multi-country teams to pioneer new business models for productive use renewable energy technologies. She holds a master’s in energy and resources from the University of California at Berkeley, and a master’s in environmental engineering from Stanford University.
