Kate Hartman

Kate Hartman is Winrock’s director of development, where she leads business development strategy and development operations in support of the organization’s global mission. She brings more than 15 years of experience advancing complex, multi‑donor initiatives for international nonprofits, with expertise spanning global health, climate and sustainability, governance and economic development. Since joining Winrock, Hartman has held a series of leadership roles, including as former associate director of new business, where she guided strategy, coordinated cross‑program teams and strengthened partnerships to expand Winrock’s impact across regions and sectors. In her current role, she works closely with program leadership and senior management to align fundraising priorities with organizational strategy and long‑term growth. Hartman’s work focuses on building durable partnerships, positioning innovative solutions and mobilizing resources to support community‑driven, sustainable development outcomes worldwide.
