Kate Wood

Kate Wood, senior director of the People & Culture team, leads Winrock’s global human resources strategy and operations to enable a high‑performing, mission‑driven workforce. She oversees organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent management, leadership development, and organizational culture across Winrock’s team in the U.S. and around the world. Wood brings more than 20 years of experience in global human resources leadership of programming funded by public, philanthropic and commercial sector clients, with a particular emphasis on international partnerships and programs. Her work has focused on strengthening talent systems, advancing organizational growth, and aligning people strategies with business and program objectives across complex, multi-country operations. She has led enterprise efforts to scale global teams, enhance leadership capabilities, drive organizational transformation, and implement data‑informed workforce practices that support impact and performance. Wood holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
