Zainab Zainy

Zainab Zainy, director of awards management, ethics and organizational compliance, strengthens the enterprise systems, risk controls and operating practices that enable effective, ethical and accountable operations across Winrock. With more than 16 years of experience, her work focuses on streamlining enterprise processes, mitigating risk and building organizational capacity in complex, global environments. Zainy leads global teams across the U.S., Africa, Asia and Latin America, advancing scalable tools, workforce planning approaches and change‑management initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency and organizational performance. She is known for integrating data‑informed strategies into broader planning and for guiding teams through periods of growth and transformation. Zainy holds a master’s degree in teaching English for speakers of other languages from the University of Westminster and a master’s in organizational leadership and learning from George Washington University.
