Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Group Member Terms of Reference
Position: Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Group Member
Compensation: 7,000 KZT per hour
Term: May 2026 – June 2027
Hours: Varies (appx 2 days/month)

Organization and Project Summary
Winrock’s Kazakhstan Actions against Trafficking in Children (KATCH) project (April 2023 – September 2027) create systemic change by strengthening capacities at organizational and individual levels to deliver child-sensitive, trauma-informed support to child trafficking in persons (TIP) victims and children migrating with their families and to increase accountability within the child protection system. To ensure that project approaches are child-centered and survivor-informed, KATCH seeks to engage persons with lived experiences of trafficking and/or exploitation by employing adult survivors of child TIP to contribute to activities and learning.

All survivors of trafficking interested in participating in this project are invited to apply
While there will be an application/nomination process, the selection criteria will not be competitive but will seek to include regional and gender representation, as well as experience in survivor advocacy work.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to apply:
- Be adult survivor of child TIP
- Candidates must have their place of residence in Kazakhstan
- Survivor Leadership – Active participation in national anti-trafficking advocacy efforts would be a plus. Where these have not been developed, candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in doing so
