El Salvador

Winrock has worked with government, communities, environmental groups, farmers, agribusinesses and other partners in El Salvador since the early 1990s on programs including watershed conservation and improved, locally led transboundary water resources management, protection of natural resources, and increased agricultural productivity and profitability. Winrock has partnered with farmers and agricultural organizations to introduce innovative technology to improve market information exchange and linkages and has helped to pilot natural resource conservation strategies including on-farm soil and forest conservation, agroforestry, and protected area management.
