Nina Etyemezian Named Winrock’s Senior Director of Human Rights, Education & Empowerment
New HREE leader brings more than 20 years of experience to organization.
Winrock International is pleased to announce that Nina Etyemezian has been named senior director of its Human Rights, Education & Empowerment (HREE) group.
Over the past two decades, Nina has worked for a broad array of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and government and multilateral agencies. Nina has provided strategic planning, technical support and business growth consulting services to USAID implementing partners on a wide range of human capacity development programs. She previously served as director for program development and strategy with the international education division at RTI International, where she advised and supported efforts to strategically grow the division and expand its geographic footprint.
She has lived in several countries in the Middle East and has worked across the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. She is a native Arabic speaker, is fluent in French and Armenian, and holds a master’s in International Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
