The Vanderbilt Unity Project has appointed advisory board members as part of its long-term strategy to create a more united states by elevating factual, respectful, and evidence-based national dialogues. The advisory board features leaders from across politics, academia, nonprofits, and culture – all committed to uniting Americans.
“The Vanderbilt Project on Unity & American Democracy is a crucially important effort to help bridge the divisions in American society. It is especially important for Winrock, as we work to bridge the economic divisions between rural and urban Americas as well as address the disparate environmental impacts that those inequalities create,” said Winrock President and CEO Rodney Ferguson. “A common sense of purpose has never been more important in this country.”
By engaging prominent leaders from a variety of backgrounds as an extension of the project, Vanderbilt is ensuring the call for evidence-based dialogue is coming from trusted voices who can reach key audiences. Advisory board members will partner with the project to unpack the concept of unity through their expertise and cement the project as the most influential voice on unity, nationally and beyond.
