Project Title: USAID Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons (USAID Thailand CTIP)
As a source, transit and destination country, Thailand faces multiple manifestations of trafficking in persons. The USAID Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) program works with communities and champions among government, civil society and the private sector to address the enabling environment for trafficking and exploitation, empower at-risk populations to safeguard their rights, and strengthen the protection systems for survivors. It also prioritizes partnerships, leveraging ongoing CTIP initiatives in Thailand and coordinating closely with source countries for a unified cross-border response.
A key component of USAID Thailand CTIP’s work is providing communities with access to tools and resources via the Winrock International-developed Thailand Migrant Resource Toolkit. This toolkit helps empower and inform migrants about their rights and assist service providers in their work.
