Agribusiness Competitiveness Activity in Tajikistan (ACAT)
Funded by USAID, the Agribusiness Competitiveness Activity in Tajikistan (ACAT) will increase the competitiveness, inclusiveness and resilience of the country’s market systems. The five-year activity will implement a market-driven, private sector-led approach to stimulate economic growth, increase employment and improve livelihoods by enhancing the competitiveness of Tajikistan’s agribusinesses in the dairy and horticulture value chains. By strengthening the ability of local firms and business service providers to identify and successfully engage in market opportunities, the activity will build a cadre of change agents for sustained and equitable economic growth.
