Niry Ramasinjatovo
Senior Director, MERL, MIS & Gender
Niry Ramasinjatovo is Winrock’s senior director for MERL, MIS and Gender. She leads Winrock’s efforts in these areas, designing and improving the organization’s strategies, systems, tools and processes with her team. Ramasinjatovo has more than 23 years of professional experience providing monitoring and evaluation, management and technical support to projects and programs in developing countries. Before joining Winrock in 2020, she worked for seven years at ACDI-VOCA, where she served as senior MERL director, promoting improved evaluation and learning practices within projects for the organization, and before that as West Africa regional MEL advisor. Previously, she spent 11 years at Pact, starting as a GIS technician, and then working separate positions as a knowledge management and gender expert, Applied Governance Department director, and MEL specialist before becoming Madagascar deputy country director, where she oversaw technical and financial reporting for a $32 million portfolio. Ramasinjatovo holds a Doctor of Philosophy in social sciences from the Université Paris Descartes and master’s degrees from the University of Antananarivo (Madagascar) in Geographical Information Systems and economics.
