Lisa Phillips
Vice President, Development
Lisa Phillips is Winrock International’s first vice president of development. She leads Winrock’s development strategy, building philanthropic partnerships and expanding funding to support the organization’s mission. Phillips brings more than 20 years of experience advancing institutional growth, strategic engagement and high-value fundraising in climate, sustainability and public health. Before joining Winrock, she served as senior director of institutional partnerships at the Columbia Climate School, where she developed and led fundraising strategies for Columbia University’s newest school. Previously, she was director of development at RMI, where she helped drive significant philanthropic revenue growth and managed fundraisers on a global team in support of the clean energy transition. Her earlier career includes leadership roles at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and the Earth Institute, where she was executive director of the Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy.
Phillips also serves as an advisory council member with Adamah NY, a Jewish environmental nonprofit, and is a founding member of Climate Vine, a global multidisciplinary climate action network.
