Lisa Phillips is Winrock’s vice president of development, where she leads the organization’s development strategy, builds philanthropic partnerships and expands funding to advance Winrock’s mission. She brings more than two decades of experience supporting institutional growth, strategic engagement and high‑value fundraising across climate, sustainability and public‑interest organizations. Before joining Winrock, Phillips served as senior director of institutional partnerships at the Columbia Climate School, where she developed and led fundraising strategies supporting interdisciplinary work at the intersection of climate science, policy and practice. Previously, she was director of development at RMI, where she helped drive philanthropic growth and supported global teams advancing market‑based clean energy solutions. Across her career, Phillips has focused on aligning philanthropic investment with complex, systems‑level challenges and long‑term organizational priorities, bringing a collaborative approach to building durable partnerships that support impact at scale.
