Training on Improved Seed Production

Winrock
International requests the support of a Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer for a 17-day volunteer assignment (including travel) in
Kissidougou—Guinea Forest. The volunteer will train a Group of BENDA WADAA
members on vegetable seed production and conservation techniques. The training
should provide knowledge on seed breeding, multiplication, conservation, and
quality control for better use
The
volunteer should have the following qualifications and background:

Experience in seed quality assurance during production
and post-harvest.
·
Good written and verbal communication skills.
·
French language skills are a plus, but translation
will be provided if necessary.
·
Experience in
training and transferring hands-on knowledge to adults.
·
Ability to travel to a site about 600 km to Conakry by
the project vehicle.
