Winrock International to lead new USDOL project to combat labor exploitation in critical minerals supply chains

Winrock International has been awarded a new project by the U.S. Department of Labor to help combat labor exploitation inย ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฎโ€™๐˜€ ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป โ€” a criticalย resourceย for U.S. manufacturing, clean energy and national security.

Funded through the USDOL’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs, this work will address abusive labor practices that distort global markets, undermine workersโ€™ rights and create unfair competition. By strengthening transparency and accountability in critical mineral supply chains, the project supports ethical sourcingย and labor practicesย whileย strengthening American competitivenessย and protecting American workers and industries.
