Winrock Signs Racial & Ethnic Equity Pledge
Winrock International has signed the Coalition for Racial & Ethnic Equity in Development’s (CREED) Pledge for Racial & Ethnic Equity (REE).
Winrock is proud to be a signatory to the CREED pledge for Racial and Ethnic Equity. We believe that it is important to stand with our colleague organizations in international development in promoting diversity within the industry as well as our own organization.
CREED is a collective of international development and humanitarian assistance organizations based in the United States committed to building racial and ethnic equity. By signing the pledge, Winrock is advancing racial and ethnic diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging for its organizations’ policies, systems, and culture in keeping with attainable and measurable goals; and work to instill REE in international development.
Winrock is committed to fostering a welcoming culture, creating safe spaces to have courageous and thoughtful conversations, providing education and resources, and being a truly inclusive partner. We remain committed to growing stronger with each action we take. One such action is becoming an early endorser of the CREED pledge, reflecting our commitment to racial and ethnic equity in our work.
Winrock is joining more than 30 not-for-profit and for-profit development organizations including international development consulting firms Chemonics and DAI, as well as humanitarian aid organizations Mercy Corps and Save the Children in the commitment to building diverse, equitable and inclusive work environments.
By signing this pledge, Winrock reiterates its commitment to:
