Organizational Capacity Building

Winrock International seeks a Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer for a 17-day assignment in Kaolack commune, central Senegal, to support EIG Bokk Jom members in organizational capacity building. The volunteer will train members on defining roles and responsibilities, including leadership, decision-making, communication, conflict resolution, effective meeting facilitation, and group dynamics. Additionally, the volunteer will offer guidance on partnership development to enhance organizational efficiency and foster active member participation. This assignment aims to equip EIG members with essential organizational tools and skills, empowering them to manage and engage in group activities effectively.

Qualifications and Background:

·       Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources management, or a related field.

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience working with community-based organizations or cooperatives to improve organizational effectiveness and collaboration.

·       Experience in agriculture, cooperative operations, and management.

·       Experience training both adults and youth.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       French language skills are preferred but not mandatory; a translator will be provided.
