Brian Bean

Brian Bean has 25 years of experience providing technical and management support across a range of environmental sectors related to climate change including forestry, biodiversity, environmental protection, agriculture and aquaculture. He is currently chief of party for the Climate Resilient Agriculture in the Mekong Delta project, which is supporting the government of Vietnam and local partners to increase climate adaptation and resilience to vulnerable communities. He is responsible for coordination and oversight of a team of scientists, technical experts, field teams and support staff developing and implementing innovative strategies that address climate risks in the Mekong Delta. Bean has worked on Winrock-implemented projects in Vietnam since 2010, including the USAID Reducing Pollution project and the Vietnam Forests and Deltas project.
