Christine Nyagode
Director, Project Operational Excellence
Director of Project Operational Excellence Christine Nyagode has more than 10 years of experience in international development finance and compliance. She was promoted to director of Project Operational Excellence after serving as Winrock’s regional finance controller for four years. She serves as Winrock’s Kenya country representative. Nyagode is responsible for assessing, standardizing and improving the operational quality of Winrock projects globally. She conducts virtual and on-site assessments of operational quality and makes recommendations on improvements to ensure implementation of best practices that contribute to Winrock’s success. Working closely with Winrock’s chief operating officer, Nyagode compiles tools and resources for projects and home office operational units and trains project offices on good operational management. Nyagode has significant experience in project operations management encompassing project finance, procurement, operations, grants and administration. She is based in Winrock’s Nairobi office. Nyagode holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds certificates in financial and grants management.
