Julie Nash

Director, Ecosystem Services

Winrock Director of Ecosystem Services Julie Nash has more than 20 years of experience working in sustainable agriculture and food systems. Before joining Winrock, she served as program director at Ceres, a nonprofit sustainability advocacy organization. While there, she led Ceres’ initiatives in forest protection, agricultural greenhouse gas emissions, natural climate solutions and biodiversity conservation. Prior to working at Ceres, she led GHG emissions research in international development projects for the CGIAR research program on climate change, agriculture and food security. Nash has significant direct experience in food companies, including in marketing and new product development at Ben & Jerry’s and Kraft Foods. She has a doctorate in natural resources from the University of Vermont, a master’s in business administration from the University of Virginia, and a bachelor’s from Cornell University.
