Tuan Nguyen

Tuan H. Nguyen is a Senior Client Advisor and Managing Director of the Family Office at Rockefeller Capital Management.  He is responsible for helping lead the efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region by closely advising families in all aspects of their financial life. As a Senior Client Advisor, he is a steward of his clients’ family wealth for future generations. Prior to joining Rockefeller, Nguyen was Executive Director and Senior Investment Specialist at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In this role, he advised families in southeastern Pennsylvania and Ohio. Nguyen previously served as Executive Director and Market Investment Team Leader in the bank’s New York office, where he led a team of investment personnel responsible for advising Hedge Fund Principals, one of the fastest growing and best performing teams in the Private Bank. Nguyen has a distinguished career having worked at Smith Barney, Citigroup Global Markets, Prudential Securities and IDS Financial Services.  Given his humble roots as an immigrant from Vietnam, he believes in “paying it forward” and serves on the advisory boards of Summer Search of Philadelphia, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia, the Asian Arts Initiative and the Asian American Studies Scholarship at University of Maryland College Park. Nguyen also serves on the Corporate Advisory Council of the Barnes Foundation and has been active with Philadelphia Futures and Cradles to Crayons. He earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland College Park.
