Lucy Brosey
Senior Director, New Business
Lucy Brosey, Winrock’s New Business Director, works across all groups to strengthen and lead new business strategy and proposal development from initial concept to proposal submission. A versatile professional with more than 20 years of experience in international development, Lucy has proven success in managing and providing strategic guidance to cross-functional proposal teams, positioning for and developing proposals for a wide range of donors addressing a broad spectrum of health and development issues. Before Winrock, she spent six years at the global health organization Path, including four years as deputy director of business development, where she provided quality control and strategic guidance on proposals for donors ranging from USAID to the Gates Foundation, and eleven years at Save the Children US, leading business development efforts for East and Southern Africa and providing technical and operational support to programs focused on orphans and other vulnerable children in numerous countries. Prior to her work in international development, Lucy was a direct care provider to children with special needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings in the U.S. In addition to many short-term deployments across Sub-Saharan Africa, Lucy has been based in the U.S., Ethiopia, South Africa and Jamaica, where she was a Peace Corps volunteer. Lucy has an M.P.H. from George Washington University and a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.
