Vladan Ilic
Senior Director, International Controller
Vladan Ilic, Senior Director, International Controller, leads Winrock’s worldwide finance and accounting initiative. He manages regional controllers and accounting staff in Manila and Nairobi and is developing a community of practice among project financial managers and regional offices. Ilic has more than 20 years of cross-functional experience in development. Before joining Winrock he worked for International Relief and Development and its successor Blumont from 2000 to 2019, where he started as a field-based project manager and project finance director in Serbia. Since transferring to the U.S. in 2004, he held a variety of positions including manager of donor reporting and cash, director of international accounting, assistant vice president of program finance, and vice president of program operations. As acting chief financial officer at Blumont, he managed all aspects of the corporate finance and accounting functions, including the controller’s office and general accounting, international program finance, audits, donor reporting and treasury. Ilic has a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting from the University of Phoenix and holds certificates in internal controls and project management. In addition to English, he speaks Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian and intermediate-level French.
