Paraguay

Located in the heart of South America, Paraguay is a middle-class country with a relatively short democratic history. Winrock’s work in Paraguay includes supporting government to respond to social inequities and human rights challenges including preventing child labor, forced labor and human trafficking. Winrock has partnered with agencies to expand justice-sector training and education with the goal of improving enforcement of child protection laws by prosecutors, judges, police and others, helping to strengthen the rule of law and positioning government to replicate improved training and programming into the future.
