The USAID Asia Counter Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) project conducted a desk review of research from the previous five years (2015-2020) on migration into Thailand’s fishing sector. Key statistics and findings are presented in this brief review.
Main findings and recommendations from two previously released research reviews conducted on Trafficking in Persons (TIP) in the Mekong region. Both reports reviewed 480 studies published between 2008 and 2018, providing an overview of existing research gaps and the quality and rigor of TIP research in the Mekong region.
