WASHINGTON, D.C. — October 20, 2020 — Winrock International, the U.S.-based national and international economic development organization, today announces the appointments of Thomas C. Green, Lisa Milton and Tuan H. Nguyen to its Board of Directors. Green is a nationally recognized trial lawyer and former Assistant U.S. Attorney who has represented members of Congress and other officials in connection with many of the most well-known and significant federal criminal trials beginning with Watergate. Nguyen is Senior Client Advisor and Managing Director of the Family Office at Rockefeller Capital Management, where he is responsible for helping lead the efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region by advising families in all aspects of their financial life.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tom, Lisa and Tuan to the board of directors of Winrock International,” said Winrock President and CEO Rodney Ferguson. “We see in them not only superlative career achievements but also an ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs of our most vulnerable. Lisa worked as a community organizer in California for eight years and founded the nonprofit LA Voice to advocate for the creation of health insurance for undocumented children. Tuan, an immigrant from Vietnam, gives back by volunteering with organizations that provide scholarships and other opportunities for kids in need. And Tom is president of the nonprofit International Anti-Corruption Research Center, which offers advanced training programs and tools to help detect, prove and prevent corruption and fraud in major international development projects. I anticipate invaluable contributions from Tom, Lisa and Tuan.”
