Maqsoda Maqsodi

President and Chief Executive Officer

Maqsoda Maqsodi is president and CEO of Winrock International. With over 20 years of experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, Maqsodi has dedicated her career to reducing global disparities. Her expertise spans business development, strategic planning, operations and programmatic impact across diverse sectors including global health, trade, democracy and governance and economic growth and stabilization. Under Maqsodi’s strategic leadership, Winrock is committed to evolving, innovating and building new partnerships aimed at accelerating the organization’s mission in the U.S. and globally. She has a proven record of guiding organizations through adaptation and change management, synchronizing teams and systems to achieve objectives and financial results. 

Before joining Winrock, Maqsodi served as president and CEO of IntraHealth International. She also held leadership positions at Chemonics International, AECOM and the International City/County Management Association. Maqsodi holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from American University and is multilingual, speaking Spanish, Dari, Hindi, and is proficient in Sinhala.
