By 2050, the world is expected to add 2 billion people. During that time, severe droughts and floods associated with extreme weather will also become more commonplace. Winrock partners with communities to develop and implement strategies that boost food production and are resilient in the face of increasingly unpredictable conditions. Winrock works with farmers, communities, businesses and government to design locally-centered solutions that are both regenerative and responsive to market dynamics. Winrock’s holistic approach prioritizes close collaboration with partners to identify, support and scale successful interventions that address inefficiencies and challenges at specific points while strengthening the entire food system.
