Soniia (Sonii) David has 30 years of experience in international agriculture. She has served as a technical advisor, researcher and manager for the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, three CGIAR centers (IITA, CIAT and ICRAF) and Helen Keller International. A rural sociologist, Sonii’s expertise includes agricultural extension and advisory services and systems, women’s empowerment, developing efficient local seed systems and promoting urban and peri-urban agriculture.
